Public Policy
Dr. Hussain is passionate about health equity and advocacy. In 2014, he was awarded the Presidential Fellowship, a prestigious scholarship to research healthcare reform. Since then, Dr. Hussain has published numerous health policy articles that have been featured in prominent outlets such as The Hill and The Baltimore Sun. In 2023, he was invited to meet the President of Singapore and discuss strategies for engaging youth in creating more inclusive societies.
He currently serves on the Health Policy Committee of the American Contact Dermatitis Society, and the alumni board for the Center of the Study of the Presidency and Congress.
